Liv (xiaoxiao cheng)

Liv is a freelance artist, mainly engaged in feminist writing and artistic creation. In writing, focus more on the straightforward expression of female desires and resist erotic narratives created from a male perspective. Her artistic creations are oriented towards feminism, focussing on revealing the dilemma of women as 'housewives and mothers' images, and exploring the diversity of female identity and social diversity. Women in the Wall is a short story that focuses on the common plight of women as homemakers and mothers, long trapped within the confines of the ‘house,’ day after day burdened with domestic labour and caregiving responsibilities—until they are ultimately consumed by it (or perhaps escape from it). This idea stems from my own family memories: as women, we often find ourselves being watched, ignored, or misunderstood. But when the protagonist, Mrs. Offered, is observed, gazed upon, cared for, and understood by the women in the wall cracks, how will she respond? What does a house with cracks represent? And what do these women, forever offering themselves, do to confront such struggles?
